Follow this procedure if you are replacing your Zebra printer with the TSC DA200 label printer. It involves installing the TSC driver then rerouting the print jobs to the TSC printer. Check here for instructions for a new installation.
Background: TSC’s TSPL-EZ is powerful printer firmware can recognize TSPL2, EPL2 and ZPL2 commands automatically without changing any hardware/software for your printer command set. If you have a Zebra printer driver installed in your PC or laptop, you should follow these steps to plug and print with your TSC printer.
STEP 1: Check which USB port number is
assigned the working Zebra driver in the Devices and
Printers section of the Windows Control Panel. This will
usually be the ZebraDesigner or Zebra printer
driver. If you are unsure which driver you are using, start
the application and open the printer setup section to see
which printer driver is being used. In the example shown below the Zebra Designer is in
use.
In this example, to determine where ZebraDesigner TLP-3844-Z is
installed on your PC, you can right click the mouse button
on the printer driver. Select “Printer properties.” Click
the “Ports” tab to find the USB port in use. For this driver, the
USB port number in use is “USB004”.
STEP 2:
Connect a TSC printer with USB
cable to your PC or laptop
Turn on the TSC printer power switch. "A TSC printer is
found" message will appear in Windows, asking you to install a new
printer driver. Place the TSC software CD disk in your PC or
laptop's CD drive and then click "Windows Driver Setup" on the AutoRun screen. The DriverWizard will be
start and will
display the model number of the identified printer. Follow the Wizard to
complete the TSC driver installation.

After completing the driver installation, the operating
system will assign another USB port automatically to your TSC
printer. You now need to find out which port is assigned the TSC
printer.
To find the port, right click the mouse on the "TSC TTP-346M" printer driver
icon and select "Printer properties."
Click “Ports” to check which USB port is assigned by the operating system for printing.
STEP 3: We now need to reroute the jobs intended for Zebra to the new TSC printer installed. We do this by changing the port number in the Zebra driver (in this example USB004) to the port number in use by the new TSC printer (in this example USB001). Changing the ports will direct print jobs from the Zebra printer to your TSC printer for printing.
STEP 4:
Disable (uncheck) the function of "Use
Printer Offline".
This allows you to use the TSC driver in place of the Zebra
driver.
STEP 5: After redirect when using your application such as ZebraDesigner to print labels with a Zebra driver, the labels will now be printed by your TSC printer.
