DIP Switch Settings there are
no DIP switch settings on the m30II. Instead the configuration is done via
memory switches
Epson TM series printers have a setup program built-in. Once active, menus are
printed and menu selection is made with the paper feed button You can enter the
Printer Setup menu by running the self-test, and then pressing the feed button
for more than 1 second. To run the self-test:
With the memory switch and R/E (receipt enhancement) function, which are
software settings
Use any of the 3 methods shown in the table below to make changes; TM-m30II
Utility, Software Setting Mode, or ESC/POS commands, to set memory switches and

The USB power-saving function is valid only when the USB interface
communication
condition is set to the vendor-defined class and the system configuration is set

Updating the Printer
Firmware, TM-m30III
You can update the TM-m30III
firmware to version 13.04 using this
utility from Epson:

Notes on updating firmware: Certain features, like the wireless dongle
(requires TM-m30II or later), may require the printer to be using a
later version of firmware. Note that you may need to use an Ethernet connection to connect to the printer
to update the firmware. Oftentimes a serial or USB connection to the printer
doesn't seem to work with the firmware utility.
Before it updates the firmware the utility asks which model Wi-Fi dongle (if
any) you are using.
It takes the utility about 5 minutes to update the firmware
After that, if installing a dongle, turn the printer off, un plug
the Ethernet cable from the printer, plug in the Wi-Fi dongle, and restart the
printer.
The printer should then print out the SimpleAP Wi-Fi start page after 30 seconds
or so.
You can then proceed with setup using the Epson TM utility on Android or iPhone.
