How to install the TSC  printer driver

Follow this procedure if you are installing a TSC printer where there is currently no label printer installed. If you replacing your Zebra printer with the TSC DA200 label printer check here.

Background: TSC’s TSPL-EZ is drop in replacement for Zebra label printer. Installing and using is as simple as 1-2-3.


 

STEP 1: Connect a TSC printer with USB cable to your PC or laptop
Turn on the TSC printer power switch. "A TSC printer is found" message will appear in Windows, asking you to install a new printer driver. If Windows does not prompt you, proceed with the install.   Place the TSC software CD disk in your PC or laptop's CD drive and then click "Windows Driver Setup" on the AutoRun screen. The DriverWizard will be start and will display the model number of the identified printer. Follow the Wizard to complete the TSC driver installation.


 



 STEP 2: After choosing the driver for the TSC printer we have, we let the driver install.

 

Upon completion you should see the printer in the Windows control panel.

 

STEP 3: After reinstalling the driver it can be used in applications such as Zebra Designers or shipping programs such as FedEx, UPS and Stamps.com. Simply choose the printer and label type and you should be in business.

Q. Can I install this printer and use it instead of my Zebra printer.
A.
Yes. No need to uninstall the Zebra printer. You can just redirect the print jobs to the TSC printer. See the instructions here.
